境外人员在镇江申报临时住宿登记须知

根据国家法律规定，境外人员（外国人、台湾同胞、港澳同胞、华侨）在我市住宿的，必须申报临时住宿登记。

1.境外人员在我市的宾馆、饭店、旅店、招待所、学校等企业、事业单位或者机关、团体及其它中国机构内住宿，应当出示有效护照或者居留证件，并填写临时住宿登记表。

2.境外人员在我市的居民或其他境外人员家中住宿，在城镇的，须于抵达后24小时内，由留宿人或者本人持住宿人的护照、证件和留宿人的户口簿到当地公安派出所申报，填写临时住宿登记表；在农村的，须于72小时内到当地公安派出所申报。

3.境外人员在镇江的住址发生变化的，亦应按上述规定办理住宿登记。

4.每次申请签证（注）、居留许可时，境外人员均需提交经派出所盖章的《临时住宿登记表》（如住在宾馆，则提交宾馆出具的住宿证明）。

Guide for Foreigners Regarding Their

Accommodation Registration in Zhenjiang

1. Foreigners who accommodates at such enterprise or institutions as hotels，inns，hostels，and schools，or at government departments，public organizations and other Chinese institutions shall show their valid passports or residence permits，and fill in the temporary lodging registration form.

2. In the event that a foreigner accommodates at the house of a Zhenjiang resident or other foreigners，if the house is located in a city or a town，the host or the foreigner shall，within 24 hours of the lodger’s arrival，submit a report to the local police station together with the lodger’s passport and other certificates and the host’s household registration book，and fill in the temporary lodging registration form；if the host’s house is located in the countryside，the report shall be submitted to the local police station within 72 hours.

3. Foreigners should go through registration procedures in accordance with the foresaid stipulations if their living addresses change.

4. For applying for a new visa or residence permit，foreigners should submit their temporary residence form stamp by the local police station or proving statement written by their lodging hotels.
